Install, review and use
Before installation
- WordPress 6.4+ and PHP 8.1+. Free is useful without SSF Chat Connect or any external service.
- Pro requires Follow-up & Quotes Free 0.1.0. Existing-enquiry linking additionally needs the separate SSF Chat Connect Pro product.
- Only trusted administrators/operators should receive access to private customer notes and quotation drafts.
Your first workflow
- Back up your site, install Free and open Tools → SSF Follow-up & Quotes.
- Create a synthetic task and quotation, review figures/terms, then check the private print report before real use.
- Keep Free active when adding Pro. Assign operators and records deliberately; review the complete quotation before manually sharing it.
Know exactly what the tools cover
- This workspace sends no WhatsApp message or email, creates no public share link and does not generate a server-side PDF attachment. Sharing a reviewed report is a separate human action.
- Prices, stock, tax, freight, insurance, exchange rates and customer terms must be entered and verified by your team. A draft is not an order, acceptance or proof of sale.
- The Pro queue/report covers the latest 100 visible records, with up to 20 item lines and 20 previous versions per record.
- Chat Connect Pro is needed only for its optional existing-enquiry snapshot link. There is no licence/order verification, payment processing, multi-site customer database or automated reminder service.
Your data, retention and access
Customer details, tasks, notes, drafts and versions remain in a non-public WordPress post type on your site. WordPress privacy export/erasure covers stored records/versions; Trash removes records from the active workspace. Deactivation/uninstall retain data and custom role definitions. The site owner controls retention, backups, staff access and sharing. No uploads, telemetry or external translation service is involved.
These local tools do not require AI or a third-party processing account. Your website owner remains responsible for access, backups, privacy notices and appropriate retention.
