Choose the workflow that fits your team

FREE

A useful place to start

  • Review WordPress/PHP versions, configured HTTPS URL flag, hostname consistency, visibility and debug/display-error flags.
  • See PHP upload/memory limits, a cron summary, plugin inventory and cached update counts with source timestamps. Missing information stays unknown.
  • Download a private JSON snapshot as an administrator; no report history is stored by Free.
  • Keep passwords, account emails, absolute paths, customer records, database details and cron arguments out of the export.
SEPARATE PRO ADD-ON

More control for reviewed work

  • Manually paste reviewed SiteCare JSON snapshots into a private administrator-only hub; no live site connection or remote credentials are created.
  • Validate schema, URLs, timestamps, field types and sizes; deduplicate identical reports and reject conflicting payloads with the same source timestamp.
  • Retain up to 20 snapshots per normalized site URL, keep newer source observations as the latest view and flag snapshots older than seven days.
  • Compare the latest two source snapshots, export private per-site history JSON or reported-sites CSV, and explicitly delete retired site history.
Every hub value is source-reported. Snapshot freshness does not prove uptime, and an installed SSF plugin does not prove backups, SMTP or other operations succeeded.

Install, review and use

Before installation

  • WordPress 6.6+ and PHP 8.1+, with administrator access.
  • Install Free on each site you want to report; it makes no remote connection. Pro requires Free on the private reporting hub.
  • A human must review, export and import each snapshot. Keep administrative diagnostics private and maintain your own retention/backups.

Your first workflow

  1. Back up your site, activate Free and open Tools → SSF SiteCare to review the local report.
  2. Download JSON only when you want a point-in-time copy. Inspect the site identity and software inventory before sharing it.
  3. On your private hub, activate Free and the separate Pro add-on. Paste reviewed JSON in Tools → SSF SiteCare Pro and re-import when a new observation is needed.

Know exactly what the tools cover

  • This is a point-in-time configuration report, not live uptime/SSL monitoring, malware scanning, backup verification, mail testing or automatic repair.
  • Configured HTTPS describes the saved URL scheme, not certificate validity or website reachability. Cached update counts can be stale; missing is not zero.
  • Pro technical bounds: 128 KiB per import, 500 plugin-inventory entries, 200 reported sites, 20 snapshots per site and 8 MiB total retained fleet JSON.
  • Commercial site-plan sizes describe updates/support coverage, separate from the technical bounds. A normalized full HTTP(S) URL, including scheme/subdirectory, identifies a reported site.

Your data, retention and access

Free stores no report history; downloaded JSON stays under your control. Pro stores validated manually imported snapshots on the hub, without account emails, credentials or customer records. Administrator-only exports and explicit per-site DELETE controls manage active history. Uninstall retains records, and downloaded/backed-up copies follow your retention process. No telemetry, live remote control, automatic email or cloud service is used.

These local tools do not require AI or a third-party processing account. Your website owner remains responsible for access, backups, privacy notices and appropriate retention.
